Level of education required to become a medical secretary

There is no compulsory university degree to become a medical secretary. On the other hand, organizations often welcome applications from those who have taken dedicated training courses, such as those provided by the Centre national de formation à distance (CNED), those in public or private high schools, or the Red Cross's medical-social secretary certificate. The latter is also open to holders of a brevet or CAP (vocational training certificate) who can provide proof of professional experience.
