The Facility
This is a specialized residential care facility with 47 spots, including 36 for residential care, 10 for day care, and 1 for temporary care, with a staff of 69 full-time equivalents (FTEs). The facility serves adults aged 20 and older with intellectual disabilities or chronic medical conditions and is part of a larger network of residential and medical care services that also includes SAMSAH centers, a FAM, and coordination units. The network is affiliated with a foundation that has been recognized for over 60 years, comprising more than 100 facilities and approximately 2,500 employees, and upholding the values of inclusion, self-determination, and innovation. Furthermore, as services continue to evolve, you will be responsible for driving forward the changes already underway within the division and promoting tailored, innovative solutions.
Compensation
For this position, you will receive compensation in accordance with the CCN 66 collective bargaining agreement, including recognition of prior service and application of the Ségur/Laforcade provisions.
Responsibilities
- Supervising and managing multidisciplinary teams
- Coordinating personalized care plans and supporting residents
- Managing admissions and monitoring residents’ progress to promote their independence
- Supervising therapeutic and educational activities
- Leading team meetings and collaborating with management
- Representing the facility to residents, families, and partners
- Handling administrative and budgetary matters
- Participating in the implementation of continuous quality improvement plans
