A nursing home located in Royan, in Charente-Maritime, is seeking a new nursing assistant (M/F) for a permanent position.
Requirements
- Permanent contract
- Day or night shifts
- Day shift: 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., working every other weekend
- Night shift: 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM
The Facility
This is a 98-bed nursing home (EHPAD) featuring a 14-bed secure unit for residents with cognitive impairments and a center for adapted activities and care. The facility offers personalized and comprehensive care, addressing high levels of dependency, neurodegenerative diseases, and end-of-life care, with a therapeutic approach that includes cognitive stimulation, adapted physical activities, and balneotherapy. The facility maintains a ratio of one nursing assistant for every ten residents, with three nurses on duty each day. In addition, a full-time psychologist and a full management team provide daily support to the staff.
Compensation
For this position, you will receive compensation based on the salary scales, including the Ségur bonus and recognition of prior service.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with personal hygiene (washing, showering, dressing, and oral care)
- Assisting residents with getting up, going to bed, and moving around
- Assisting with meals and monitoring fluid intake
- Supporting residents’ independence by encouraging them to perform tasks they are still capable of doing
- Monitoring overall health
- Identifying physical or behavioral changes
- Monitoring vital signs
- Preventing pressure sores, falls, and complications related to immobility
- Alerting the nurse in the event of a deterioration in health

Qualifications
Certified nursing assistant (CNC) with a degree from France.
