We are recruiting a veterinarian M/F to join a veterinary clinic located in Saintes, Charente-Maritime, on a permanent contract. The proposed position can be exercised in pure canine or mixed (canine/equine) depending on your profile.
Description and duties
The clinic offers a general practice with a strong canine focus, while also catering for equine, bovine and NAC clients.
As a veterinary surgeon, you will be involved in the following tasks:
- Routine consultations with adapted times: 15 minutes for vaccinations, 30 to 45 minutes for standard consultations and dedicated emergency slots
. - Medical and surgical interventions according to your skills and appétences
>. - Participation in on-call duty: 1 evening a week and 1 weekend a month
- Regular interaction within a multidisciplinary team, in a dynamic of clinical exchange and continuous progress
The current breakdown of activity is 70% canine, 15% equine, 10% bovine and 5% NAC.
Structure DNA
The clinic has spacious, recently renovated premises spread over 600 m2. It has 13 veterinarians and 10 ASVs, with a strong spirit of collaboration and sharing. The technical equipment is complete:
- 5 consultation rooms, 1 treatment room, 2 operating theatres
. - Imaging room (plan sensor radiology, ultrasound), Idexx analysis laboratory
. - Dog/cat separation in waiting room, dedicated kennel and cattery
- Gases, therapeutic laser, osteopathy equipment, cardio echo, orthopedic and soft-tissue surgery
The facility values quality of care, case follow-up, as well as friendliness and ongoing training. It is located close to Royan, La Rochelle and the Ile d'Oléron, in a pleasant living environment.
Compensation
For this position, you will receive a salary in line with the collective agreement, plus a 10% bonus.
