The Platform
This is an asynchronous medical tele-expertise platform that connects healthcare professionals with medical specialists. In practice, a practitioner sends you a structured patient record to solicit your remote opinion: this is not a teleconsultation, but rather a tele-expertise service, with no patient appointments or mandatory video conferences. You review the cases according to your availability and are completely free to provide an opinion, request additional information, decline a case, refer the patient for an in-person consultation, or prescribe medication when the circumstances allow. In addition, the platform is completely free for physicians—with no subscription, no commitment, and no commission fees—and you’ll receive comprehensive support during the onboarding process.
Compensation
For this position, you will be paid on a fee-for-service basis, at a rate of €23 per tele-expertise procedure (TE2), billed to the national health insurance program when the conditions are met. The volume of cases will gradually increase depending on the region and the network’s growth.
Responsibilities
- Analysis of structured patient records submitted by healthcare professionals
- Issuing specialized medical opinions remotely
- Requesting additional information when necessary
- Referral to an in-person consultation for cases that require it
- Issuing prescriptions when medically appropriate
