We are recruiting a geriatrician M/F to join a hospital located in Marseille in the Bouches-du-Rhône region, on a permanent contract. DNA of the facility You'll be working in a facility that opened in 2024 and is currently undergoing a phase of development, with an increase in the number of beds. In addition, the facility has services dedicated to geriatric and long-term care, including Alzheimer's units and palliative care beds. In addition, the certification with distinction obtained in June 2024 attests to a recognized level of quality. Description and missions The position covers the following sectors: mental health of the elderly, geriatrics (UGG), palliative care, full hospitalization and long-term care. Your main tasks will be as follows: - Take charge of patients in full hospitalization and in units dedicated to cognitive disorders. - Ensure medical follow-up of patients in USLD, UCC and palliative care. - Work in collaboration with the nursing team and paramedical staff to ensure comprehensive care. - Participate in the organization of bed openings and the ramp-up of services. Two positions are available: one in May for full hospitalization, and a second for this summer, with a view to opening the multi-purpose/geriatric service in September. The organization of working hours is also flexible, with the possibility of working full-time or part-time. Compensation For this position, you will benefit from a remuneration ranging from €100k to €120k gross per year, including on-call duty, to be negotiated during your job interview according to your profile.
