As part of its business expansion, a hospital in Loches, Indre-et-Loire, is seeking a new geriatrician (M/F).
Requirements
- Hospital physician or contract physician
- Full-time
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Facility
You will join a public hospital located in Loches, in the Indre-et-Loire department, which is part of a regional hospital network. The facility houses a follow-up care and rehabilitation unit, a long-term care facility (EHPAD), an Alzheimer’s day care center, and a home health care service (SSIAD), with a multidisciplinary structure and dedicated paramedical teams.
Compensation
- Based on the pay scales for hospital physicians/contract employees under categories 1 or 3
Responsibilities
- Geriatric care for patients in the follow-up care and rehabilitation unit
- Postoperative care for patients following orthopedic and trauma surgeries
- Follow-up care for patients following cancer treatments
- Management of cardiorespiratory decompensation in older adults
- Care for neurocognitive disorders affecting independence
- Collaboration with the resident and the paramedical team to coordinate care pathways
- Participation in the SSR expansion project

Qualifications
A geriatrician with a degree from France or the European Union, who is registered or eligible for registration with the French Medical Association.
