Job Canine General Veterinarian - Châtellerault 86 Located in Châtellerault, a 95% canine and 5% NAC clinic is looking to recruit a canine general veterinarian on a permanent or fixed-term contract. In a friendly atmosphere where 6 veterinarians and 7 ASVs are already present, you will benefit from excellent working conditions. The facility is equipped with 4 consultation rooms, 2 operating theaters, Doppler ultrasound, digital X-ray, endo-fibroscope, biochemistry, ionogram and hematology analyzers, air conditioning throughout the clinic.. It performs general surgery, orthopedics and traumatology, soft tissues, neurology and ophthalmology with operating microscope. It also has a community scanner located 20 minutes from the clinic. What's more, you won't have to do on-call duty, and you'll be provided with accommodation if required. As part of a national network, the clinic retains its total independence, and you'll have complete freedom in the way you practice. Description and duties As a general veterinary surgeon, you will work in a well-equipped facility, with the possibility of being accompanied by an experienced and formative colleague, conducive to in-depth learning. You will be involved in : - Handling general consultations and elective surgery - Analysis of complementary examinations carried out on site (X-ray, ultrasound, laboratory) - Managing emergencies according to a balanced schedule, including on-call duty - Continuity of care in conjunction with the ASVs on site Depending on your profile and ambitions, you may also be eligible for a position within the clinic's management group.
