As part of its business expansion, a hospital in Langon, Gironde, is seeking a new psychiatrist (M/F).

- 1 to 2 on-call shifts per month
The Facility
You will join a hospital specializing in the treatment of mental illnesses and psychological distress, offering units for adults, children, and adolescents, as well as a forensic psychiatry program. The care services are supported by a large overall capacity, divided between inpatient beds and alternative care options, and a network covering a wide area from the Bordeaux metropolitan area to southern Gironde. In addition, the medical and nursing program focuses on a tiered care model, research, and innovation.
Compensation
- Salary ranging from €55,000 to €124,000 gross per year, to be determined based on employment status
Responsibilities
- Providing consultative psychiatry services in the emergency department and within inpatient and rehabilitation units
- Conducting psychiatric evaluations for patients hospitalized in general care or in medical-social institutions
- Determining psychiatric referral pathways and proposing appropriate treatment plans
- Sharing and coordinating clinical information with the relevant teams
- Collaborating with various professionals to monitor patient progress
- Participating in on-call shifts at the facility
