The Institution
This is a medical-educational and school institute located in Andilly, in the Val-d’Oise, which serves approximately 84 to 86 young people aged 6 to 20, with the possibility of continued support up to age 21 or even 25, depending on individual circumstances. The young people primarily have moderate to severe intellectual disabilities with associated disorders, autism, ADHD, behavioral or eating disorders, and, for some of them, multiple disabilities. The facility provides both residential and day care services throughout the week and is organized into eight day-care groups, an introductory section, and a basic vocational training section offering three pre-apprenticeship workshops (laundry, cooking, and table service, landscaping), and a specialized educational program. In addition, the physician will work as part of a comprehensive multidisciplinary team comprising educational staff, paramedical staff, two psychologists, two speech-language pathologists, two nurses, and a teaching staff, in collaboration with a network of local partners.
Compensation
Compensation is based on the National Collective Bargaining Agreement 51 (CCN 51) and will be determined during the interview based on your profile and experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating and supervising the facility’s medical teams
- Providing medical care for the young people in our care
- Renewing prescriptions, particularly for psychotropic medications
- Reviewing medical records and reports submitted by hospitals
- Liaising with external physicians and specialists providing care for the youth
- Participating in the coordination of the care pathway
- Providing medical expertise to educational and paramedical teams
- Contributing to the development of the institution’s medical program
