A hospital in Cadillac, Gironde, is looking for a new psychiatrist (M/F) for a fixed-term contract.

The Facility
You will join a hospital specializing in the treatment of mental illness and the management of psychological distress, serving a large area stretching from the Bordeaux metropolitan area to the southern part of the Gironde department. The care services cover adult, pediatric, and adolescent units, as well as a forensic psychiatry program. In addition, the organization offers a graduated care pathway and integrates research and innovation into its medical and care projects.
Compensation
- Salary ranging from €55,000 to €124,000 gross per year, to be determined based on employment status
Responsibilities
- Organize regular medical follow-ups for patients
- Update the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Meet with families
- Write and monitor medical prescriptions
- Prescribe therapeutic activities
- Ensure compliance with the care plan’s prescriptions
- Conduct additional tests
- Liaise with other specialists in coordination with the department’s primary care physician
- Request or renew MDPH files
- Develop patient care plans
- Implement patients’ care plans, including preparing application files for potential care facilities
- Participate in multidisciplinary review meetings
- Work on-call shifts (1 to 2 months)
- Write prescriptions for isolation rooms
