As part of its business expansion, a hospital in Cadillac, Gironde, is seeking a new psychiatrist (M/F) for a position open to candidates of all employment statuses.
Aboutthe Facility
The facility specializes in the treatment of mental illness and the care of patients with psychological distress. It offers a diverse range of care services, including units for adults, children, and adolescents, as well as a cross-functional unit responsible for specialized care pathways and forensic psychiatry. In addition, the organization has a total capacity of 382 full-time inpatient beds and 222 alternative care slots spread across more than 80 care facilities. Its locations cover a wide area, from the Bordeaux metropolitan area to southern Gironde, enabling community-based care pathways.
Compensation
- Salary ranging from €55,000 to €124,000 gross per year, to be determined based on employment status
Responsibilities
- Organize regular medical follow-ups for patients
- Update the electronic patient record
- Meet with families and provide medical updates
- Write and monitor medical prescriptions
- Prescribe and coordinate therapeutic activities
- Ensure that treatment plans are followed
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests
- Coordinate with other specialists and the department’s general practitioner
- Request or renew MDPH files
- Develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews
- Cover on-call shifts (1 to 2 months)
- Write prescriptions for isolation rooms
