A private, multidisciplinary hospital located in Saint-Doulchard, in the Cher department, is seeking a new SSPI nurse (M/F) for a permanent position.
Requirements
- Permanent contract
- Rotating shifts, divided into three time slots: 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., or 1:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- On-call duty Monday through Friday from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The Facility
This is a private, multidisciplinary hospital with nearly 70 medical specialists and 280 staff members, offering comprehensive care in surgery, general medicine, oncology, maternity services, and medical and rehabilitation care. The facility has a full range of technical resources, including an operating room, medical imaging, CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine, as well as an Orthocenter offering outpatient procedures. You will be responsible for receiving and monitoring patients in the post-operative monitoring unit, as part of a diverse surgical program covering orthopedics, gastroenterology, vascular surgery, and urology. Furthermore, the facility is ideally located just outside Bourges, in an accessible and pleasant setting.
Compensation
For this position, you will receive compensation based on your pay grade under the FHP collective bargaining agreement, supplemented by an on-call allowance.
Responsibilities
- Receiving and settling in patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) upon their return from the operating room
- Providing post-anesthesia monitoring and tracking vital signs
- Assessing pain and implementing protocols
- Identifying and managing postoperative complications
- Checking the emergency cart and the surgical schedule
- Authorizing discharge from the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) based on the Aldrete score
- Information reporting and traceability

Qualifications
Registered nurse in France. Experience in a recovery room is preferred.
