A mutual-insurance-based nursing home located in Couëron, in the Loire-Atlantique department, is seeking a new coordinating physician (M/F) for a permanent position.

The Facility
This is a nonprofit nursing home located in the heart of Couëron, offering residents a safe and welcoming living environment. The facility ensures residents’ independence and helps them maintain social connections, and features a specialized unit for supporting residents with neurodegenerative disorders. As part of a group committed to providing high-quality, accessible healthcare for all, you will work closely with the nursing home’s management team and the medical and quality of care department. Additionally, Couëron—a lush town on the banks of the Loire River—offers a pleasant setting just outside the Nantes metropolitan area.
Compensation
For this position, you will receive compensation based on the FEHAP pay scale, with an indicative range of €70,000 to €95,000 gross per year for full-time employment.
Responsibilities
- Organizing and coordinating care within the facility
- Coordinating internal teams and independent practitioners
- Conducting and updating AGGIR and PATHOS assessments
- Participating in the development and monitoring of individualized care plans
- Organizing geriatric committees and ensuring best practices are followed
- Contributing to institutional projects

Qualifications
A coordinating physician licensed in France or the European Union, registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board, holding a specialization in geriatrics (national certification in gerontology, DESC in geriatrics, or university diploma in geriatric care for nursing home coordinating physicians).
