A hospital in Langon, Gironde, is looking for a new child and adolescent psychiatrist (M/F).

The Facility
You will join a hospital specializing in the treatment of mental illness and the care of patients with psychological distress, located in southern Gironde and serving a large area spanning the Bordeaux metropolitan region to southern Gironde. The range of care services includes units for adults, children, and adolescents, as well as specialized care pathways and a forensic medicine program. In addition, the facility has an inpatient capacity of approximately 382 beds and 222 alternative care slots distributed across more than 80 care facilities.
Compensation
- Salary ranging from €55,000 to €124,000 gross per year, to be determined based on employment status
Responsibilities
- Meet with patients and their parents during consultations
- Conduct child and adolescent psychiatric evaluations and diagnoses
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Organize regular medical follow-ups for patients with traceable records in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Coordinate and participate in multidisciplinary care teams
- Lead weekly theoretical and clinical meetings with the team
- Prescribe and participate in therapeutic activities
- Ensure the care framework is in place and handle administrative procedures, including applications for or renewals of MDPH files
- Meet and network with local partners (schools, committees, medical and social service providers)
