As part of its business expansion, a hospital in Cadillac, Gironde, is seeking a new child psychiatrist (M/F) of any employment status.
Requirements
- Any employment status (PH, PHC, Assistant)
- Full-time
- Department open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
The Facility
You will join a facility specializing in the treatment of mental illness and the care of those suffering from psychological distress, located in Cadillac and serving a large area ranging from the Bordeaux metropolitan area to the southern part of the Gironde department. The range of care services includes units for adults, children, and adolescents, as well as a forensic psychiatry program. In addition, the regional network relies on numerous facilities offering inpatient care and alternative housing options to ensure localized, personalized care pathways. The multidisciplinary teams prioritize collaboration, research, and innovation.
Compensation
- Salary ranging from €55,000 to €124,000 gross per year, to be determined based on employment status
Responsibilities
- Clinical care for adolescents aged 12 to 17 in the day hospital
- Conducting diagnostic evaluations and clinical observations
- Initiating and reevaluating medication regimens
- Systematic somatic evaluation in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Collaborating with the addiction medicine department to assess substance use disorders
- Leading group therapy sessions and providing individual care
- Coordinating referrals to outpatient services and minimizing full-time hospitalizations
