Job Mixed Veterinarian M/F - Cholet 49
A veterinary clinic near Cholet is looking for a mixed veterinarian M/F. As part of a CDI position or a self-employed collaboration, you will practice in a clinic mainly oriented towards rural medicine 75% rural (including 2/3 suckling and 1/3 dairy), 25% canine and complemented by another 100% canine clinic nearby.
We are offering a unique opportunity to join this caring and organized team, in a working environment where team spirit and mutual aid are at the heart of its operation. Your main responsibilities will include visits, emergencies and rural surgeries, as well as emergency canine consultations. Situated at an equal distance from Niort, Nantes and Angers, this facility offers easy access to a variety of cultural and leisure activities, thanks to its proximity to the Atlantic coast and the Puy du Fou.
The team comprises 2 canine vets, 2 mixed vets, 3 rural vets and 6 veterinary assistants. The rural activity covers herd monitoring, feed monitoring, reproduction, milk quality monitoring, and is complemented by a high-quality canine activity. Team spirit, internal communication and ongoing training are the driving forces behind our day-to-day work, ensuring a high level of organization and a high level of team spirit. On-call duty is organized as 1 day a week and one weekend of on-call duty approximately every 6 weeks, always in pairs, enabling a balance between professional and personal life. Opening hours are 8.30am to 12pm and 2pm to 6.30pm Monday to Friday, and 8.30am to 12pm on Saturdays.
