Job Nurse M/F - Arzacq-Arraziguet 64
A multidisciplinary health center, located near Pau in Arzacq-Arraziguet, is looking for a nurse M/F on a salaried basis.
This position, to be filled on a permanent basis, will require you to work full-time, alternating between 2 and 4-day weeks. You'll work 12-hour days, and have more days off in a row thanks to this schedule. You'll also be able to take 1 week of paid on-call duty (€350) every 5 weeks, with a fairly relaxed pace during the latter.
In order to operate on two different sites (about ten kilometers apart), you will have a company car at your disposal and will work in trios to alternate these two workplaces. This also guarantees total freedom to organize your work schedule with your future colleagues, allowing you to choose where to operate. The structure places great emphasis on work ethics, with the aim of ensuring the most serene end-of-life possible for every elderly person in the facility.
You will be expected to carry out a wide range of tasks as part of your role, in order to bring diversity to it. In particular, you will be responsible for technical care and care requiring special monitoring specific to each elderly person, taking part in toileting, managing emergencies and taking over in the absence of a nurse in the home, ensuring regular medical follow-up, delegating care falling within the scope of the nurse's responsibilities to the care assistants, while supervising the effects through monitoring, reassuring and listening to the elderly, managing the pharmacy in its entirety, from prescribing to distributing medicines, and taking part in written and oral transmissions, in liaison with the team, and taking part in team meetings.
