Job Mixed Veterinarian M/F - Aurillac 15
We are recruiting a Mixed Veterinarian M/F to join a veterinary practice located in Aurillac in the Auvergne region, within the framework of a CDI in full-time or part-time salaried employment.
Description and duties
As a mixed veterinarian, you will work in a facility with a 60% rural and 40% canine activity. You will be responsible for:
- Carrying out care and medical procedures on farm animals: obstetrics, individual and collective medicine, reproduction monitoring, surgery, trimming, prophylaxis (around 15,000 cattle monitored), neonatology
. - Provide medical and surgical consultations for companion animals
. - Perform fluidotherapy of calves at the clinic, with perfusion plan based on blood gases
. - Perform approximately 100 to 150 coproscopies per year at the practice
- Participate in on-call duty at the rate of one week per month (splitable), with a guaranteed three-day weekend each month
A pre-established schedule, drawn up six months in advance, will set the pace for your work.
Structure DNA
You'll join a welcoming team of passionate general veterinarians (partners and salaried staff), accompanied by three autonomous and dynamic veterinary assistants. The 350 m² practice is modern and well-equipped, with two separate consultation rooms for cats and dogs, an X-ray room and a full laboratory. You'll have access to Scil Versana ultrasound, Balance, Draminski i scan2 multi, FUJI digital radiography, IDEXX Catalyst one, Vetstat, Lasercyte, as well as gas anesthesia.
The structure encourages support and skills development, with an openness to training and medical exchanges. You'll also be able to perfect your obstetrical skills thanks to a high level of calving activity.
Compensation
For this position, you will benefit from a salary based on the collective agreement, with a bonus depending on your profile. A company car is also available.
