The Organization
You will join a Medical Care Facility (EAM) located in Saint-Jorioz, in Haute-Savoie, which serves adults with disabilities referred by the CDAPH. With a capacity of 37 permanent residential beds, 8 temporary residential beds, and 5 day-care spots, the facility primarily supports individuals with neurodegenerative diseases such as multiple sclerosis. You will join a multidisciplinary team comprising a physician, nurses, nursing assistants, an adapted physical education instructor, an occupational therapist, a physical therapist, a speech-language pathologist, special education teachers, educational instructors, and healthcare assistants (AES). This position is particularly well-suited for someone with a genuine passion for sports and physical activities.
Compensation
For this position, you will receive compensation based on the CCN51 Collective Bargaining Agreement, with recognition of prior experience, plus an allowance for your role in coordinating the educational team.
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, particularly during meals, while promoting their independence
- Leading sports, recreational, and cultural activities, both on and off the premises, in collaboration with the educational team and the adapted physical education instructor
- Participating in the development and monitoring of residents’ personalized care plans
- Coordinating the adapted physical activity (APA) and educational teams—approximately 4 full-time equivalents (FTEs)—in their daily operations: planning and managing work schedules via the HRIS, tracking substitutions and absences, and organizing time off
- Representing the facility in dealings with external service providers and supporting the team in its interactions with them
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team and participating in weekly meetings

Qualifications
You hold the State Diploma in Special Education (DEES) or the State Diploma in Youth Education (DEME) and have a Class B driver’s license, which is required for this position.
