A medical and rehabilitation facility located in Virazeil, in the Lot-et-Garonne department, is seeking a new physiatrist (M/F) for a permanent position.

The Facility
This is an SMR facility with 78 inpatient beds and 20 day-care slots, specializing in disorders of the nervous system, the musculoskeletal system, and traumatology, complemented by a multipurpose SMR unit. The medical team consists of three physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) physicians and one general practitioner, supported by a multidisciplinary paramedical team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and neuropsychologists. The spacious and innovative technical facilities include a balneotherapy unit, a virtual reality system, a posturology platform, and an exoskeleton. Furthermore, the facility offers significant opportunities to develop your practice according to your interests—whether in spasticity, neurourology, musculoskeletal medicine, sports medicine, or innovative projects—in an ideal setting just one hour from Bordeaux.
Compensation
- Ranges from €9,774 gross per month for a young physician fresh out of residency to €11,000 gross per month for an experienced candidate
- Paid on-call duty in addition to base salary
Responsibilities
- Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) consultations and comprehensive patient care
- Monitoring of inpatients and outpatients
- Musculoskeletal ultrasound and botulinum toxin injections
- Urodynamic testing and monitoring of urinary rehabilitation devices
- Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Development of activities based on your interests
