As part of its business expansion, a hospital in Loches, Indre-et-Loire, is seeking a new physiatrist (M/F).
Requirements
- Hospital physician or contract physician
- Full-time
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Facility
You will join a local hospital in Loches, which is part of a regional hospital network. You will work within a close-knit medical team consisting of a board-certified physician, a resident, and a dedicated paramedical staff. The department provides geriatric care focused on post-acute rehabilitation and maintains close working relationships with other hospitals in the region.
Compensation
- Based on the pay scales for hospital physicians/contract employees under categories 1 or 3
Responsibilities
- Medical care for patients in geriatric rehabilitation
- Postoperative follow-up of patients who have undergone orthopedic and trauma surgeries
- Care for patients following oncological treatments
- Management of cardiorespiratory decompensation
- Assessment and monitoring of neurocognitive disorders affecting independence
- Collaboration with the paramedical team and local partners
- Participation in the SSR expansion project

Qualifications
Physiatrist (MPR) licensed in France or the European Union, currently registered or eligible for registration with the French Medical Board.
