Job Pediatrician M/F - Vénissieux 69 We are recruiting a pediatrician M/F to join a multidisciplinary hospital located in Vénissieux, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, as part of a mixed self-employed and salaried practice. Description and duties Working in a level 1 maternity unit with around 1,000 births per year, you will be responsible for the care of newborns within the following framework: - Daily visits to the maternity ward (approx. 4h/day on a salaried basis) - Telephone on-call duty outside visiting hours. - Additional freelance work possible on site, with a practice available for pediatric consultations. - Close collaboration with obstetrician-gynecologists and anesthesiologists available 24/7 - Participation in infant care and prevention in conjunction with the midwifery team on duty. Facility DNA This modern hospital facility, built in 2018, boasts spacious surroundings and a comprehensive technical platform with six operating theatres, a Caesarean section, an outpatient department dedicated to endoscopy, and an outpatient surgery department. In full expansion, the clinic is also home to an emergency department handling some 30,000 patient visits per year, with a target of 50,000 per year. Other services include medicine (gastroenterology, pneumology, endocrinology), post-emergency care and geriatrics, as well as an 80-bed nursing home. The opening of an SMR department is scheduled for 2026. Ideally located close to a motorway exit and the T4 tramway terminus, the facility is easily accessible from central Lyon. Compensation For this position, you will work part-time as a salaried employee and part-time as a self-employed practitioner, with a consulting room at your disposal. Remuneration terms will be specified during the interview, with advantageous conditions linked to the ZFR zone.
