We are recruiting an optician M/F to join a boutique located in Serris, Seine-et-Marne, as part of a 6-month fixed-term contract to replace maternity leave.

You'll be joining a fast-growing international boutique, with plans to expand abroad, including an opening in New York. Well served by public transport, the boutique welcomes a varied clientele, both local and visiting. The premises are modern and well-suited to sales and additional services. The working atmosphere is dynamic and requires initiative, in an organizational context that is currently being adjusted following internal changes.
Description and duties
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the store during the replacement period. Your main tasks:
- Manage and coordinate a small team made up of a student on work-study, an associate on a bachelor's degree three days a week, and a 35-hour optician who also works on audio
. - Establish and manage your opening and closing schedule according to the store's rota
. - Provide sales advice on frames, lenses and sunglasses, and monitor sales targets with access to figures
. - Oversee commission management and sales reporting
- Organize appointments and refer customers for eye examinations, which can be carried out at a partner site in Rosny
. - Participate in the development of the audio offer in liaison with the team
You will have a large degree of autonomy and will be able to suggest areas for commercial and organizational improvement.
Compensation
For this position, you will benefit from a salary of €3,100 to €3,200 gross per month plus bonuses and solar optics commissions generally between €300 and €700 depending on sales.
