The Facility
You will join a medical-social facility that serves 55 adults with intellectual disabilities, divided among 49 residential beds and 6 day-care spots. The facility includes two specialized units: one dedicated to older adults and the other to individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders and autism spectrum disorders who do not have severe medical conditions. You will be responsible for monitoring the health of the residents as part of a well-staffed multidisciplinary team, within an organizational structure designed to ensure a manageable workload, with approximately one nurse for every fifteen residents. In addition, the facility is known for its strong team dynamic, a positive work environment, and low staff turnover, and places a high priority on training and professional development, with real opportunities for internal advancement. Located between Lake Enghien and the Montmorency Forest, it offers a pleasant and easily accessible work environment.
Compensation
For this position, your compensation will be determined during the interview, in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement and based on your prior experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and monitor the health status of those in our care
- Participate in the development and monitoring of personalized care plans
- Coordinate care pathways in collaboration with physicians and healthcare partners
- Support individuals in prevention and health education initiatives
- Design and lead workshops on prevention and health promotion
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
