A small medical-social facility serving children and youth with multiple disabilities, located in Valenton, Val-de-Marne, is seeking a new state-certified nurse (M/F) for a permanent position.
Requirements
- Permanent contract
- Full-time, 35 hours per week on an annualized basis
- Monday through Friday, with approximately 10 Saturday mornings per year
- Approximate hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., depending on the day
The Organization
You will join a small outpatient medical-social facility that serves 15 children and young people aged 3 to 20 with multiple disabilities. The facility is characterized by a warm, caring, and dedicated team, in which frontline professionals play a central role and are trusted to work with a high degree of autonomy. Since care activities are not continuous, you will have time to develop care protocols, organize the infirmary, and work closely with the educational team. No doctor is permanently on site, but you will be supported by a health coordinator. In addition, the children enjoy numerous activities and outings—from swimming to movies, cooking workshops, sports, and festive events—all in a particularly caring environment.
Compensation
For this position, your compensation will be determined during the interview, based on the collective bargaining agreement and recognition of your prior experience.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring children’s health and taking vital signs
- Managing complex and life-threatening medical situations
- Caring for gastrostomy patients, managing equipment, changing the stoma button, and administering enteral nutrition and treatments

- Administering nebulizer treatments, preparing and administering medications
- Managing medical supplies and the infirmary
- Tracking of care and entry of prescriptions via dedicated software on a tablet
- Developing protocols and procedures approved by the physician
- Working closely with the educational team and the health coordinator
Benefits
- Small, close-knit organization with a warm and caring team
- Schedule aligned with school breaks, with many weeks of vacation
- Non-continuous care duties, leaving time to organize protocols and the infirmary
- Autonomy and trust granted to professionals
- A day of on-the-job training to help you settle into your new role
- Ségur bonus, Laforcade bonus, and seniority credit
- Employee Representative Council (CSE), Christmas gift cards, vacation benefits, and a long weekend for Ascension Day
That Extra Little Something
Valenton holds a secret still unknown to Parisians: the Plage Bleue Departmental Park, a former sand quarry converted into a vast 40-hectare natural area. Its large body of water, bordered by fine sand, has earned it the nickname “beach without a sea,” featuring water play areas, a skatepark, pétanque courts, and fishing spots to suit every taste. Designated a natural area of ecological interest, the site is also home to gray herons, cormorants, and Egyptian geese—a true haven of biodiversity less than an hour from Paris.
Job Requirements
A nurse licensed in France with at least 3 years of experience, including experience managing emergency and life-threatening situations. Proficiency in gastrostomy care and nasogastric tube procedures, as well as a Class B driver’s license, are required. The position requires an independent, resilient individual capable of maintaining perspective in situations that can sometimes be emotionally demanding.
