As part of its business expansion, a leading hospital in Metz, in the Moselle department, is seeking a new emergency medicine physician (M/F).
Requirements
- Contract physician or tenured hospital physician
- Full-time
- 39 hours per week + 9 hours of non-clinical time
- 12-hour on-call shifts
The Facility
You will join a leading hospital in the Northern Lorraine region, spread across several sites, including hospitals in Metz and Thionville. This facility includes medical and social services, general medicine, cardiology, oncology, and psychiatry units, as well as well-organized emergency departments. Its two emergency sites handle a high volume of annual patient visits and are staffed by multidisciplinary teams and operational mobile emergency medical units (SMUR).
Compensation
- €5,930 gross per month for contract physicians
- €4,600 to €9,400 gross per month for tenured hospital physicians
- Attractive signing bonus
Responsibilities
- Providing care for patients in the emergency departments at the Metz and Thionville locations
- Working 12-hour on-call shifts
- Managing emergency situations and referring patients to the appropriate care pathways
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary medical and paramedical teams
- Contributing to the organization of on-call care and adherence to local protocols
- Potential participation in SMUR missions, depending on availability

Qualifications
Emergency medicine physician licensed in France or the European Union, currently registered or eligible for registration with the French Medical Board. Open to physicians holding CAMU certification.
