As part of its business expansion, a hospital in Loches, in the Indre-et-Loire department, is seeking an emergency medicine physician (M/F).
Requirements
- Hospital physician or contract physician
- Full-time or part-time positions available
- Split-shift option available (50/50 or 60/40)
- 24-hour on-call shifts
The Facility
You will work at a hospital located in Loches, which is part of a regional hospital network affiliated with a regional university hospital. This facility offers a close-knit work environment, and its emergency department handles a significant volume of patients with an outpatient emergency care unit (UHCD) and a mobile emergency medical service (SMUR) branch; its medical and surgical specialties enable comprehensive care pathways throughout the region.
Compensation
- Based on the pay scales for hospital physicians/contract employees under categories 1 or 3
Responsibilities
- Providing care for patients in the emergency department
- Managing and monitoring patients in the short-stay unit
- Participating in 24-hour on-call shifts and on-call rotations
- Participating in SMUR (Mobile Emergency Medical Service) calls as organized by the department
- Supervising and collaborating with residents and the nursing staff
- Coordinating with the surgery, medicine, and imaging departments regarding patient care pathways

Qualifications
