As part of its business expansion, a referral veterinary clinic in Saint-Max, in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department, is seeking a new clinic director (M/F) for a permanent position.
Requirements
- Permanent contract
- Full-time
- 4.5 days per week
- Approximately 2 Saturday mornings per month
- Phone duty until 11:00 PM, then life-threatening emergencies only
The Practice
You will join a referral veterinary clinic located just a few minutes from a major university town, with a multidisciplinary team and an organization focused on providing high-quality care. In addition, the facility features spacious, modern premises that support specialized and collaborative practice. The team consists of 11 veterinarians with complementary skills and 18 veterinary technicians, ensuring a balanced distribution of tasks.
Compensation
- Compensation above the collective bargaining agreement, negotiable based on qualifications
Responsibilities
- Ensure clinical care and the quality of treatment within the facility
- Oversee medical operations and treatment protocols
- Provide leadership, foster team cohesion, and motivate the veterinary teams and veterinary assistants
- Manage the clinic’s administrative operations and development strategy
- Help coordinate schedules and manage medical emergencies
- Ensure ongoing training and the sharing of best practices within the team

Qualifications
A veterinarian with a degree from France or the European Union, who is registered or eligible for registration with the French Veterinary Board.
