We are recruiting a veterinarian M/F to join a rural veterinary practice located in Saint-Gervais-d'Auvergne, between Vichy and Clermont-Ferrand, as part of a full-time CDI.
Description and missions
Working in a predominantly rural practice, you will carry out a mixed bovine and canine-oriented activity. Your duties will mainly include:
- Care of livestock (around 40% of business, 80% of which is cattle)
- Work on horses and farmyard animals (a smaller proportion)
- Surgery of convenience and last-line procedures
>. - First aid, vaccinations, castrations, reproductive ultrasounds
. - Support for the local agricultural high school, with supervision of a breeding program for dogs, cats and sheep

The activity does not require any particular technical skills, and young graduates are welcome. A maximum of two on-call shifts per week is required.
Structure DNA
This human-sized practice, located in a rural setting, makes a point of preserving a family and caring atmosphere within the team. You'll have access to two surgery rooms, an ultrasound scanner (CTS800), and basic imaging equipment (no gas anesthesia, no X-rays for lameness). All rooms open onto the outdoors, providing a pleasant working environment. Partnerships are in place with specialized ophthalmology clinics and referral structures in Clermont-Ferrand.
Compensation
For this position, you will receive compensation in accordance with the veterinary collective agreement, based on your profile and experience.
