Co-Manager of an Eyewear Store (M/F) - Paris 8th Arrondissement

An optical store in Paris, in the Île-de-France region, is looking for a new store co-manager (M/F) for a permanent position.

The Company
This is a French optical retail chain whose mission is to make eyewear accessible, offering complete eyewear packages at fixed and transparent prices. Focused on high volume, fast service, and quality advice, the store operates with a team of about twenty employees—including sales associates, opticians, and assistants—all working together to deliver a structured customer experience. The store manager oversees operations, leads the team, ensures compliance with internal processes, and monitors both sales performance and service quality. Furthermore, this position is part of a high-volume, demanding, and stimulating environment that fosters the exercise of genuine on-the-ground leadership. Located in the heart of the capital, the store benefits from a dense customer base and a lively Parisian work environment with excellent public transportation access.

Compensation
For this position, you will receive a gross monthly salary of €3,300, as well as a variable component.

Responsibilities
- Managing a team of approximately twenty employees
- Supervising, supporting, and developing the teams’ skills
- Organizing schedules and assigning tasks
- Overseeing the store’s sales performance
- Monitoring performance metrics: revenue, conversion rate, average basket size, customer satisfaction
- Ensuring quality of service and the in-store customer experience
- Overseeing opening and closing procedures, managing customer flow, and monitoring inventory levels
- Reporting to regional management

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a candidate with experience in a high-traffic retail environment, accustomed to managing a team of 10 to 20 employees and tracking sales performance metrics. Experience in telecommunications, health and beauty, or high-traffic specialty retail; proven on-the-ground leadership; a results-oriented mindset; proficiency with retail KPIs; and fluency in French are required. No optician’s degree is required for this position.
