An optical company located in Beauchamp, in the Val-d’Oise department, is seeking a new Quality Control Manager for Incoming Inspection & Compliance (M/F) for a permanent position.
Requirements

- Full-time
- 39 hours per week
- Monday through Sunday
- 9:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
The Company
You will join an optical retailer located at a logistics facility in Val-d’Oise, dedicated to receiving, quality control, and distribution for a national network. The quality control teams operate in a modern, well-equipped warehouse to ensure frame compliance, traceability, and RFID inventory management. In addition, the site works closely with a central laboratory equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, ensuring high production volumes and consistent quality standards. The work environment is dynamic, ambitious, and hands-on, with opportunities for internal advancement.
Compensation
- €35,000 to €40,000 gross/year (base salary + bonuses)
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming frame shipments
- Verify supplier compliance for each shipment against the specifications: dimensions, finishes, defects
- Systematically track nonconformities
- Update the supplier quality tracking system
- Operate and supervise the automated probe
- Ensure that each new part number is properly inspected
- Ensure that the part geometry is correctly recorded and propagated throughout internal systems and to external glass suppliers
- Take daily samples from outgoing shipments from the warehouse to retail stores and to Chronopost
- Inspect the quality of eyeglasses before shipment
- Report and document defects
- Ensure that RFID inventory counts are performed according to the defined schedule
- Ensure the reliability of RFID inventory data
- Establish a quality control function at a new site and manage the function independently
- Identify recurring issues and propose corrective actions
