A SESSAD located in Domont, in the Val-d'Oise department, is seeking a new psychomotor therapist (M/F) for a permanent position.
Requirements
- Permanent contract
- Part-time (17.5 hours per week)
- Mandatory attendance on Tuesday mornings for team meetings
- From 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Organization
This is a Special Education and Home Care Service that supports children and adolescents ages 0 to 20 with intellectual disabilities or multiple disabilities. The service’s mission is to promote the development, independence, and inclusion of each child in their everyday environment by providing support as close as possible to where they live—whether at home, at school, or in recreational settings. The support is multidisciplinary, bringing together medical, paramedical, and educational professionals. In addition, the practitioner will join a team consisting of part-time psychomotor therapists and an apprentice, working in an atmosphere of trust and teamwork.
Compensation
For this position, you will receive compensation in accordance with the FEHAP 51 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Responsibilities
- Conducting psychomotor assessments and identifying the child’s difficulties
- Conducting individual, group, or co-therapy sessions
- Participating in therapeutic activities offered by the department: equine therapy, balneotherapy, the Snoezelen room, and adapted sports
- Implementing various psychomotor therapy techniques
- Writing reports and end-of-rehabilitation evaluations
- Updating patient records
