An optical store in Ixelles, Brussels, is looking for a new store manager (M/F) for a permanent position.
Requirements

- 39 hours
- Monday through Saturday
- 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The Company
You’ll join an optical retailer focused on accessibility, prompt service, and high customer volume. The stores are staffed by teams of licensed opticians and optical consultants, with a customer journey structured around consultation, eye exams, frame selection, sales, and customer follow-up. Additionally, the position is located in the city center, near public transportation and amenities.
Compensation
- Monthly gross salary of €3,000 (including a 13th-month bonus)
- Variable bonuses of up to €2,500 gross per month
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of approximately 20 employees
- Supervise, support, and develop the teams’ skills
- Organize schedules and assign tasks
- Oversee the sales performance of the retail location
- Monitor key performance indicators
- Ensure quality of service and the in-store customer experience
- Ensure proper implementation of internal processes
- Manage customer flow in the store
- Oversee the opening and closing of the retail location
- Manage inventory operations
- Submit reports to regional management
- Coach teams on assisted sales and optimizing conversion rates
