As part of its business expansion, a healthcare facility in Sallanches, Haute-Savoie, is seeking a new oncologist (M/F) for a permanent position.

The Organization
You will join a recognized public-interest foundation based primarily in Haute-Savoie and active in the healthcare and medical-social sectors. In addition, the facility offers specialized care in oncology and palliative care with a well-structured and stable medical team. The position is part of a medical team composed of several salaried practitioners and department heads, within a facility that includes a day hospital as well as beds for medical and palliative care. The position is scheduled to be filled in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Compensation
- Between €90,000 and €120,000 gross per year
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient consultations
- Present diagnoses and treatment options and support patients throughout their care journey
- Provide regular follow-up care for patients undergoing treatment
- Adapt and approve treatment protocols based on clinical progress
- Participate in Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to define treatment strategies
- Approve chemotherapy protocols for outpatient and week-long inpatient care
- Provide specialized medical advice on complex oncological cases
- Participate in the facility’s on-call rotations and ensure continuity of care
- Approximately 5 on-call shifts per month, rotated among practitioners, compensated at €188 gross on weekdays and €367 gross on weekends.
On-call duties involve minimal travel but require the ability to reach the facility within 30 minutes. Prescriptions can be issued remotely via the Osiris software.
