Nephrologist (M/F) - Metz 57

As part of its business expansion, a hospital in Metz, in the Moselle department, is seeking a nephrologist (M/F).

Requirements
- Tenured hospital physician or contract physician
- Full-time
- Work at multiple locations in Metz and Thionville
- At least one weekend on call per month

The Organization
You will join a regional referral hospital in northern Lorraine, comprising several sites and medical-social facilities located primarily in Metz and Thionville. It offers a comprehensive range of care organized around departments such as Women’s, Maternal, and Children’s Health; Emergency Medicine; Cardiology; Gastroenterology, Urology, and Nephrology; Oncology; and Geriatrics. In addition, nephrology services are provided at two sites with a structured team and regular collaboration with other specialties within the division.

Compensation
- €6,000 gross per month for contract physicians
- €4,800 to €9,300 gross per month for tenured hospital physicians
- Up to €1,000 gross per month in regional practice allowance
- €100 gross per on-call shift

Responsibilities
- Providing care for inpatients in the nephrology department at both locations
- Participating in the organization and monitoring of care in a 15-bed unit
- Participating in on-call duty and responding to calls as needed
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in clinical meetings and cross-site coordination

Qualifications
Nephrologist with a degree from France or the European Union, registered or eligible for registration with the French Medical Board.
