As part of its business expansion, a hospital in Loches, in the Indre-et-Loire department, is seeking a new internist (M/F).
Requirements
- Hospital physician or contract physician
- Full-time
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Facility
You will join a hospital located about 50 minutes from Tours, with good rail access. You will work as part of a close-knit medical team consisting of a physician, a resident, and a dedicated paramedical staff.
Compensation
- Based on the pay scales for hospital physicians/contract employees under categories 1 or 3
Responsibilities
- Providing medical care for geriatric patients in post-operative care within a rehabilitation unit
- Follow-up care for patients after orthopedic and trauma surgeries
- Care for patients following oncological treatments
- Management of cardiorespiratory decompensation and disorders related to comorbidities
- Assessment and management of neurocognitive disorders affecting independence
- Collaboration and coordination with the paramedical team and partner facilities

Qualifications
Internal medicine physician licensed in France or the European Union, currently registered or eligible for registration with the French Medical Board.
