A SAMSAH in Sarcelles, in the Val-d'Oise department, is seeking a new general practitioner (M/F) for a permanent position.

The Organization
You will join a SAMSAH run by a nonprofit organization recognized as being of public benefit under the French Law of 1901, which has been committed for over 90 years to the social and professional integration of people with disabilities. The service supports adults with disabilities throughout their lives to promote their independence, social inclusion, and access to healthcare. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide support both at the facility and in the homes of the individuals we serve.
Compensation
- Salary ranging from €72,000 to €95,000 gross per year
Responsibilities
- Provide medical care for the individuals in our care
- Conduct consultations at the facility and in clients’ homes
- Assess patients’ medical needs
- Coordinate care with primary care physicians and specialists
- Monitor non-prescription treatments
- Arrange medical and paramedical referrals
- Participate in the development and reassessment of personalized care plans
- Inform patients and their families about changes in their health status and treatment progress
- Participate in consultation meetings with the multidisciplinary team
- Provide medical support to educational and care teams
- Develop relationships with local health and medical-social facilities
- Participate in the medical plan and the facility’s strategic plan
- Maintain and update medical records
- Help with prevention efforts and raise staff awareness about health and disability issues
