As part of its business expansion, a hospital in Loches, Indre-et-Loire, is seeking a new general practitioner (M/F).
Requirements
- Hospital physician or contract physician
- Full-time
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Facility
You will work at a local hospital in Loches, which is part of a regional hospital network that coordinates healthcare services across the region. The facility has a small medical team, including one resident, and a dedicated paramedical staff. The position is based at the main site, located about 50 minutes from Tours, near a train station, making commuting easy.
Compensation
- Based on the pay scales for hospital physicians/contract employees under categories 1 or 3
Responsibilities
- Care for geriatric patients following rehabilitation
- Postoperative follow-up for orthopedic and trauma surgeries
- Care for patients following oncological treatments
- Management of cardiorespiratory decompensation and medical follow-up
- Assessment and management of neurocognitive disorders affecting independence
- Collaborating with the paramedical team and the resident
- Participation in coordination meetings and medical handoffs
