A medical facility in Cagnes-sur-Mer, in the Alpes-Maritimes department, is seeking a new physician to serve as Head of Medical Affairs (M/F) for a permanent position.

The Organization
You will join a major private healthcare group in the Alpes-Maritimes region, working primarily at the Cagnes-sur-Mer Medicine, Surgery, and Obstetrics (MCO) facility while also overseeing medical affairs for the medical and rehabilitation care facilities (SMR). This multidisciplinary environment brings together nearly 230 medical specialists and more than 600 staff members, with a high annual volume of inpatient stays, emergency room visits, and births.
Compensation
- €75,000 to €80,000 gross per year
Responsibilities
- Participate in the development and implementation of the facility’s medical plan
- Coordinate between medical teams, facility management, and various governing bodies
- Manage regulatory matters related to healthcare activities, authorizations, and calls for proposals
- Supervise and coordinate the work of interns and maintain relations with health authorities
- Represent the facility before institutional partners, regulatory agencies, and insurers
- Ensure that patients’ rights are respected and that medical data remains confidential
- Coordinate the handling of claims, complaints, and disputes with insurers
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients on medical matters
- Participate in health economics studies
- Contribute to the Quality and Risk Management policy and analyze adverse events related to patient care
- Support teams in continuous improvement initiatives and lead evaluations of professional practices
- Collaborate closely with the DIM physician and share office space
