Nurses need to be well-prepared to deal with these difficult situations, and know how to manage the human distress of patients and their families.

In addition, working hours are irregular, as patients may require medical care at any time, including nights and weekends. Finally, this is not a sedentary career. As patients' first point of contact in the healing process, nurses are at the service of human beings and their health.
